    My Brothers and Dad Have Varied Opinions about Dish Versus Direct TV

    When our family gathers for Thanksgiving or Christmas, we all enjoy the friendly banter that goes on around the table and later in the den. While we women discuss the latest recipes and fashions, the men usually settle in to debate the newest wave of technology. The last time that we all got together, the conversation about dish vs directtv became very animated as two of my brothers took one side and my dad and the other brother took the other. My brother-in-law tried to referee, with limited success. Finally everyone agreed to return to their corners and take a break for Mom’s apple pie and ice cream. Dessert has a way of calming almost anything.
