Do Not Let Acne Ruin Your Life
January 22nd, 2010 by admin
One of the most devastating things that can happen to a teenager is a bad case of acne. For some, it really lowers their self- esteem. At times, most parents may not even be aware of the effects this temporary stage may have on their children. Teenagers do not always talk about how they feel so, it may be hard to approach them regarding it. Parents can help their children by practicing good facial hygiene habits. Teach children that it is important to thoroughly cleanse their skin and especially their faces before they retire for the night. If they wear make-up, then the cleansing process is very important. Ask your child to let you know if there has been any type of change in their complexion. There are so many products on the market that will address acne but it is advisable to let a physician prescribe the correct type of acne treatment cream for your child. A good balanced diet along with drinking water and proper rest will also help keep the skin healthy. Always remind your child that most teenagers go through this stage and it is not the end of the world.
