The cause of boils.

Bacteria live on the skin of every person.  Sometimes due to improper hygiene, a weakened immune system, or other causes the bacteria can cause infections.  Boils are formed from an infection made by one such type of bacteria.  When the bacteria get inside of a hair follicle it can cause an abscess to form on the skin.  While a boil is not serious, proper care should be taken.  Clean the infected area frequently with antiseptic.  Use warm water or a warm compress to speed up the eruption of the abscess.  The boil should erupt in four to ten days. This is a proper boil treatment.
