    Fan Placement

    I want a kitchen ceiling fan. The kitchen gets very hot, especially in the summer. I think the fan would help. A fan is supposed to help in the winter too. The idea is that they will push the heat back down into the living area versus having it on the ceiling. The question I have is where to put the fan. In same ways, it makes sense to put it where the existing light fixture is located. However, I am afraid that the fan and the light combination would be too low. I’m sure I’m not the first person with this issue.
