Raised Garden Beds Allow The Elderly To Continue Gardening

My Grandmother has a really hard time walking since she had a stroke last year. She has to use a walker and cannot stand for any length of time. Even though she has this problem, she still loves to garden. My Dad converted her old flower beds into raised garden beds so that she can still do what she enjoys. Now she can sit in the comfort of her chair and take care of her flowers and weed the garden as well. She does not have to sit in a chair and try to bend over all the way to the ground anymore. This is so much more convenient for her!
