Son Studying African Art

My neighbor and her son came over for dinner last night. He brought his text book to show the chapter he was reading this week for art class. They are studying Africa this week so he had some fotos of original African art from the various countries. One of the fotos was of a Yoruba god called elegua. He enjoyed looking at some of the native clay figures so much that he decided to buy some clay and have an activity for some of the younger kids on the block. That was the main discussion last night. He decided Sunday afternoon might be a good day.
