Chicago probate attorney made us money

You have heard to old saying penny wise and pound foolish. Since I became the executor of my dad estate in Chicago, Illinois I now have a greater respect for this saying. At first, I hesitated in hiring a Chicago probate attorney when the lawyer said the fee would be around 3% for settling the estate it seemed like a lot of money. But what I found out is that a good attorney can make and save money too. Because the estate was settled faster we were able to put all of the real estate up for sale before the real estate market collapsed. I figure that we dodged a bullet as we sold five properties before the market turned south. Now looking back the attorney made us more money than it cost.
